Tariffs on export of oil from the Russian Federation will be zero in June


From June 1, 2023, the customs duty for the export of Sunflower oil from Russia be zero. The amount of export duties on scrap will decrease – from 6577,7 rubles per ton to 5011,8 rubles per ton. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

The indicative prices on the basis of which the fees are calculated amounted to Sunflower oil to $940,5 per ton ($1.030,7 per ton a month ago); on scrap to $262,4 per ton ($285,2).

Recall that until August 31, 2023 in Russia export duties Sunflower oil and scrap apply.

The fee for sunflower oil is 70% of the difference between the base price (82.500 rubles per ton) and the indicative price (the arithmetic average of market prices per month).

The export fee for sunflower meal is calculated using the formula as the difference between the indicative price (the arithmetic average of market prices per month) and the base price (13.875 rubles per ton) multiplied by the correction factor (0,7).
