Ukraine has already resolved two issues regarding the closure of the Ukrainian-Polish border

The Ukrainian Ministry of Municipal Development, Territories and Infrastructure will hold a meeting with representatives of Polish authorities and transport companies at the border on November 13 to lift the blockade of border crossings. The Polish Ministry of Infrastructure, representatives of the voivodeships, representatives of the European Commission's Mobility Directorate, the Ukrainian Embassy in Poland and transport companies are invited to the meeting. The Ministry of Reconstruction will be represented by Deputy Minister Sergei Derkach, the press service of the Ministry of Reconstruction of Ukraine said.

“At the same time, according to the results of the negotiations between Sergey Derkach and State Secretary of the Polish Ministry of Infrastructure Rafal Weber, the Ukrainian side has already clarified two questions raised by the Polish colleagues,” – the statement emphasizes.

It is about the functioning of lanes for empty vehicles directly at the “Yagodin – Dorogusk” checkpoint and updating the functionality of the eCherga system – the possibility of replacing the driver for empty trucks.

“In addition, it was once again suggested to the Polish colleagues to route the empty transport through the “Ugrinov – Dolgobychiv” checkpoint, where there is a corresponding lane. Such an option would allow empty trucks to reduce the waiting time to cross the border. We are waiting for the relevant decision,” the press service continued.
