Prices for Ukrainian sunflower oil for delivery to Black Sea ports fell by $5-10 over the week to $800-805 per ton, GrainTrade reports, citing data from Trading Economics.
The export price of the product with delivery to Bulgaria is now reported at $840-850 per ton and to Italy at $880-890 per ton.
It should be noted that the decline was also influenced by the decline in oil prices: June Brent futures on the London Stock Exchange ICE Futures fell on Monday by 0,34% to $ 90,14 per barrel (- 0,5% this week).
Against the same background, global palm and soybean oil prices also fell, which also came under pressure from a very optimistic report from the Malaysian MPOB board on the situation in the palm oil market.
