More than 2.200 trucks are queued at the Ukrainian-Polish border. The spokesman for the State Border Service, Andrei Demchenko, said this on the program of the national television channel “United News”.

“In the morning we blocked three checkpoints: “Rava-Russkaya – Grebennoe”, “Krakivets – Korcheva”, “Yagodin – Dorogusk”, – he noted.

According to Demchenko, about 1400 trucks have been waiting in queues on Polish territory heading to Ukraine since this morning.

In addition, Polish farmers again blocked truck traffic opposite the “Medika – Shegini” checkpoint.

“According to available information from the Polish Border Guard, the blocking of traffic for trucks resumed at around 09:00 today on the territory of Poland on the road in front of the “Medika” checkpoint, which is adjacent to the Ukrainian “Shegini” checkpoint. It is reported that about 800 trucks are now waiting in this direction to enter Ukraine into the territory of Poland. At the same time, the organizers of such actions on Polish territory stated that they did not intend to hinder the movement of buses and cars.

It is reported that the Ukrainian border guard is taking measures to monitor the situation and clarify interaction with Polish colleagues regarding the order of further passage of trucks and the category of goods allowed across the border.

According to Polish mass media, the protest will provisionally last until February 3 of this year.
