FranceAgriMer has raised its forecast for French soft wheat exports outside the EU to 2023 million tonnes in 24/10,2, up from 10,1 million tonnes last month, which is 0,4% above last season's level. The office lowered its forecast for French common wheat shipments to the EU this season to 6,69 million tonnes from the 6,79 million tonnes expected in November, still 4,8% above 2022/23 volumes.
French common wheat stocks at the end of the 2023/24 season are estimated at 3,22 million tonnes, up from 3,06 million tonnes last month and 26% higher than last season.
For corn, FranceAgriMer expects ending stocks of 2023 million tonnes for 24/2,00, up from the 1,86 million tonnes estimated last month. The forecast for barley ending stocks for 2023/24 has been revised from 1,71 million tonnes to 1,81 million tonnes.
