Ukraine has almost 120.000 tons as of the beginning of the month Rapeseeds delivered abroad, according to analysts from the PUSK cooperative. However, they believe that the current export rate is low because the remains of the old harvest are being sold. In their opinion, the new harvest is more liquid.
“Traders estimate that already 300.000 tons Oilseeds of the new harvest were sold, which will be delivered in July/August. We have significant demand from Germany,” the report says. At the same time, analysts believe that the coming rapeseed season for Ukraine will be generally successful.
“In the worst case scenario, the country will have at least 2024 million tonnes in 3,5 Rapeseeds to harvest. According to the forecasts of the Ministry of Agricultural Policy, the gross harvest of oilseeds will be 4,1 million tons. The EU is expected to reduce its production this year, so Ukrainian rapeseed has good prospects,” they explained.
