Australia has been increasing its rapeseed exports since the beginning of July


The volume of world exports of Rapeseeds rose to 4,6 million tons from July to September this year, 1 million tons above the level of the same period last year. This data was published by the analysts of the Hamburg company OilWorld (Germany). They note that the growth of trade against the background of record deliveries of Oilseeds from Australia and the resumption of exports from Canada.

In particular, in September this year, oilseed sales from Australia more than doubled to 368.000 tonnes. The largest quantities were delivered to the United Arfrom Emirates and Japan - 127 tonnes (000 tonnes) and 61 tonnes (000 tonnes), respectively.

Overall, Australian oilseed shipments rose to 1,2 million tonnes in the July-September period this year, up from 0,5 million tonnes last year.

“Higher canola exports from Australia to Pakistan, the United Arfrom Emirates, Japan and Mexico, which are traditional markets for the Canadian oilseed, offset a decline in shipments to the EU, which fell by 2022 million tonnes in the 23/0,6 marketing year” , say the experts.
