According to the market operators, the Turkish State Agency for the Purchase of Foodstuffs TMO has announced a tender for the import of 325 thousand tons of feed corn.
In particular, the importer plans to 175.000 tons Corn to buy on the CFR basis with batches of 25.000 tons to the ports of Derince, Iskenderun, Mersin, Izmir, Bandirma, Tekirdag, Samsun.
Also, the Freezone base is said to be 150.000 tons Grains with batches of 25.000 tons to Iskenderun, Mersin, Izmir, Bandirma, Tekirdag and Samsun ports.
The delivery of corn to Turkey should take place in the period from June 7th to 30th this year.
The closing of the tender is scheduled for May 26th.
