The sunflower seed harvest in Argentina will be 2022 million tons in 23/4,05, which is a stable indicator compared to the previous harvest. This forecast was made by analysts at the Rosario trading exchange.
The Buenos Aires Grain Exchange, in turn, has the forecast for the soybean harvest in Argentina in the current season – to 41 million tons compared to 48 million tons according to the preliminary forecast.
The experts in Rosario also expect that the country's oil production could fall by 60% annually due to the worst drought in the last 25 years. In particular, due to the unfavorable weather conditions, about 500 thousand hectares of soybeans remain intact in Argentina. As of January 11, fieldwork was progressing at 89,1% of plan.
