The prospects for the wheat harvest in Argentina continue to deteriorate


Analysts at the Rosario grain exchange have the wheat production in Argentina revised down again in 2022/23 amid persistent severe drought in the country, reports Successful Farming.

Experts have lowered the given forecast to 11,5 million tons, compared to a preliminary estimate of 11,8 million tons.

Recall that in the December report, USDA analysts also significantly lowered the forecast for the 2022/23 Argentine wheat crop to 12,5 million tons, compared to 15,5 million tons according to the preliminary estimate (22,1 million tons in 2021 /22).
