Since the beginning of the season, the prices for the demand for flex seeds on the domestic market in Kazakhstan decreased significantly.
The downward momentum developed due to insufficient demand for oil from Kazakhstan by major importers in the foreign market. In addition, the pace of trade activities was significantly complicated by logistical problems in the country (lack of wagons and locomotives, high transport tariffs). At the same time, the number of offers of flaxseed by farmers is marked as sufficient against the background of a seasonal factor.
As of December 2nd, the demand prices for flax on the market of the Republic of Kazakhstan depending on quality and batch volume in the range of 365-415 €/Tonne on EXW-Base fixed. At the beginning of the current season they were in the range of 405-486 €/ton EXW.
