In October 2022, Kazakhstan exported 37,6 thousand tons flex seeds. This is 8,1 thousand tons higher than in September, the Grain Union of Kazakhstan reported, citing data from the Committee on State Expenses of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Export figures are slightly higher than last year: in October 2021, Kazakhstan exported 31,3 thousand tons of flax seed, in September only 25 thousand tons.
At the same time, in previous seasons, these products were supplied to foreign markets much more actively: for example, in October 2020, the Republic of Kazakhstan delivered almost 45.000 thousand tons of flaxseed for export, in October 2019 - 59,6 thousand tons, and in 2018 - 48,6 thousand tons.
According to analysts, the volume of trade in Kazakh flax remained subdued at the end of November due to logistical problems in the country and low demand from importers.
