Wheat

The exchange price for wheat in Kazakhstan was €342,80/ton

A large batch of food grains traded on the Kazakh stock exchange for the first time in a long time last week. On Tuesday, June 21, seven transactions were made here for Wheat of class 3 in the total volume of 46 thousand tons (term of delivery EXW).

During the double counter-auction, the buyers offered a price between €329,50 and €342,70/ton. However, all transactions went over the limit, and a total of 46 million euros was paid for 15,8 thousand tons.

The next day, June 22nd, the seller put another 29.000 tons of wheat up for sale and asked for a price of already €347,90/ton. However, there were no interested parties who wanted to buy grain.
