Deral experts have lowered the forecast for soybean production in the Brazilian state of Parana in 2022/23 by 0,7 million tons compared to previously expressed values to 21,4 million tons.
It is noted that the downward revisions take into account the negative impact of the drought in the region on the Oilseeds were carried out. However, the expected harvest is still 69% higher than the result of the previous season.
It is also reported that the state's farmers have already started Soybean to reap. At the same time, the pace of field work can accelerate significantly in the first week of February, but it will be lower than last year.
