The wheat harvest in Kazakhstan and its exports are expected to be at the level of the average annual volume in the new marketing year. This was reported today at a press conference in the STC by Minister of Agriculture Erbol Karashukeev.
We have a forecast for wheat this year at 13-13,5 million tons. Compared to last year, the harvest will be 15-20% larger, at the level of the average annual volume over the past five years.

He noted that Kazakhstan averages 12-12,5 million tons Wheat produced annually, domestic consumption is 6 million tons. The rest of the amount in the form of grain and flour is exported.
In the new marketing year we are counting on an annual average.
