Kazakhstan has extended the export quota of wheat and flour until September 30th


The export quota mechanism in force in Kazakhstan for Wheat and wheat flour is extended to September 30. This was officially announced on June 16 by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In order to ensure the food security of Kazakhstan, the Interministerial Commission on Foreign Trade Policy and Participation in International Economic Organizations decided to impose restrictive measures until September 30 on the export of wheat and messlin in the amount of 550 thousand tons to third countries and EAEC countries and to extend to third countries of wheat and rye flour amounting to 370 thousand tons.

It also states that the ministry is taking action "according to the mechanism of quotas on agricultural products."

On June 1, there was a quota of 300 million tons for the export of wheat from Kazakhstan and XNUMX thousand tons of flour.

According to the latest data from the Grain Union of Kazakhstan, the development of the quota for wheat is 50%, for flour - 87%.
