Ma'Riyanny Hemp Industrial Park Cluster intends to conduct an experiment on winter flax cultivation this year, writes the Ukrainian consultant.
Natural and climatic conditions in Ukraine do not allow Lein to grow according to the classic system. For example, in France, it begins to sow on February 15, in Ukraine you have to wait about a month, but you need to collect in July, that is, there is not enough time for growth.
At the same time: If there are also climatic disturbances, for example drought, there is a risk that Lein the expected returns are not taken into account.
"We collect 3-4 tons/hectare, the French 8-10 tons/hectare, and we have the same potential as they do," says the industry expert.
If the experiment is successful, the expert believes it will be another chance for farmers to grow the crops in demand.
