Brazil's soybean harvest in the 2022/23 marketing year will be 156 million tons


Brazilian agricultural producers can produce 2022 million tons in the 23/156 season Soybeans thresh - that would be a new record for the country. This forecast was made by the analysts of the Association of Vegetable Oil Producers Abiove announced, increasing their estimate by 0,5 million tonnes over the previous one. It is noted that 129,9 million tonnes of oilseeds were threshed last agricultural year.

In addition, the experts revised up soybean exports from the South American region to 97,5 million tons (+0,5 million tons from June forecast) versus 78,7 million tons in marketing year 2021/22.

The July oilseeds throughput estimate increased by 0,3 million tonnes to 53,5 million tonnes (50,9 million tonnes in the previous season). The consumption of Soy meal is estimated at 18,1 million tonnes (18,7 million tons) and from Soybean oil estimated at 8,7 million tonnes (7,3 million tonnes).

Crop carryovers are estimated at 7,3 million tonnes (+0,3 million tonnes in the previous forecast) versus 3,9 million tonnes in the 2021/22 marketing year.
