A sunflower harvest above the annual average is expected in the East Kazakhstan region this year. In the Kostanay and Pavlodar regions, a harvest with an annual average is forecast. This is reported by Kazhydromet.
The average yield of sunflowers in the Kostanay region is 5,8-7,8 quintals/hectare, in Pavlodar - 4,3-6,3 quintals/hectare, in the East Kazakhstan region - 13,5-15,5 quintals /hectare.
According to the preliminary forecast for East Kazakhstan, the yield of Sunflowers 20,2-22,2 hundredweight/hectare in the Altai region, 17,2-19,2 hundredweight/hectare in Katon-Karagay, 18,8-20,8 hundredweight/hectare in Shemonikhin district.
The final yield forecast will be made at the beginning of August, taking into account the meteorological conditions.
