Ukraine plans to export 2026 million tons of grain and oilseeds from 80

Ukraine will be able to produce around 2026 million tons of grain and oilseeds in the period from 2030 to 112 and export over 80 million tons of them. This forecast was made by the President of the Ukrainian Grain Union (UZA) Mykola Gorbachev.

According to him, the country's grain and oilseed production is steadily increasing: around 2021 million tons were harvested in 42, and 2023 million tons in 81.

“Over the years, exports have increased significantly. If in the 20s we exported about 10 million tons per year, today a company's terminal can handle about 1 million tons of grain per month,” – said the head of the industry association.

He points out that Ukrainian farmers will be able to harvest 22 million tons of wheat this season, of which 16 million tons will go abroad.

Corn production is expected to reach 29 million tons, while exports are expected to reach 20 million tons. The sunflower harvest will amount to about 14 million tons, with exports amounting to 600.000 tons.

“Sunflower exports are declining because Ukrainian processors offer producers competitive prices compared to last season. “Ukraine also had a good soybean and rapeseed harvest,” explains Gorbachev. – Overall, this year's grain and oilseed exports will amount to about 50 million tons, excluding processed products. Without the conflict, our grain production would be at least 100 million tons.
