Ukraine exported more than 39,4 million tons of grain


Ukraine exported more than 39,4 million tons of grain. This emerges from a message on the website of the Ukrainian Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food.

Exports of Ukrainian wheat amount to 15 million 128 thousand tons, which is 1 million 187 thousand tons or 1,08 times more than in the past.

Ukrainian farmers also exported 2 million 154 thousand tons of barley and 1,2 thousand tons of rye.

Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 21 million 707 thousand tons, which is 2 million 342 thousand tons or 1,1 times less than in the past.

In addition, 84,6 thousand tons of flour (or 112,8 thousand tons of grain) were sent abroad, which is 40,8 thousand tons or 1,48 times less than in the past.

Preliminary data published by Minagro on April 19 on exports of cereals and pulses. Accordingly, 2023 million,2024 thousand tons of grain and legumes were exported in the 39/059 marketing year.

It is recalled that the rate of exports of agricultural products in the first half of FY 2023/24 lagged behind that of the previous year by 17%.
