Sunflower prices on the Ukrainian market continue to rise, Spike Brokers analysts report. They note that the increase in oilseed prices can be seen against the background of active demand from oil extraction companies that are trying to build up stocks of raw materials for the next 3-4 months.
So the cost of seed oil is now between $335-355 per ton depending on the region.
“Stable oil prices and the devaluation of the hryvnia last week allowed a significant increase in quotations and supported the intensification of sunflower trade in Ukraine,” analysts said.

- DAP Bulgaria ~ $430-450;
- DAP Türkiye ~ $405-410;
- CIF Bulgaria (Port) ~ $420-425;
- CIF Romania (Port) ~ $415-420.
