Slovakia extends export ban on Ukrainian agricultural products and expands the list of products


On November 29, the Slovak government approved extending the ban on imports of agricultural products from Ukraine for an indefinite period and expanded the list of goods to which it applies. This emerges from a resolution by the Slovak Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, as reported by European Pravda.

We remind that Slovakia's previous ban applied to the supply of four crops from Ukraine until the end of 2023: Wheat, Corn, rape seed and Sunflowers.

Now honey became Barley, all-purpose flour, malt, Soybeans, cane or beet sugar, bran, cake and other solid residues from the production of vegetable fats or oils are included in the list.

In addition, control of transit deliveries of Ukrainian agricultural products through the territory of Slovakia will be tightened.
