Demand prices for sunflower oil in Ukrainian ports are mainly in the range of $810-820 per ton on the basis of the CPT port, according to monitoring data from the “APK-Inform” agency. Experts note that these quotes reflect the status of April 8th.
At the same time, the cost of the product increased by $15-20 per ton over the week, experts said. This happened “against the background of similar price trends in the world market for vegetable oils.
It is worth remembering that Ukraine has already exported 2023 million tons of sunflower oil in the current season (September 2024 - March 3,8), compared to 3,2 million tons in the same period of the previous agricultural year, with 608.000 tons of the product exported in March were sold abroad.
