Despite the military risks and geopolitical obstacles, Kernel continues to export refined vegetable oil to 59 countries, including 32 countries - oil with its own brand. This is reported by the company's press office.
The head of export sales of refined vegetable oil at Kernel Ivan Rudenko noted during the Forbes Ukraine Exporters Summit that the company is focused on diversification along geographical lines.
“Now the key regions for us are Asia, North Africa, the Middle East, the European Union and America, with each of these regions having no more than 30 percent,” he specified.
According to Ivan Rudenko, Kernel has not only geographical diversification, but also a balance in distribution channels: the company works with large distributors (30%), manufacturers (30%) and retailers (40%), e.gusamm.
“In the packaged products segment, retail is the key driver for us with which we rely on direct contracts,” he said.
