This week Ukrainian processors continue to raise purchase prices for Feed barley to increase.
This situation was mainly due to the insufficient amount Grains which hampered farmers' sales and increased competition between processing, livestock and export-oriented companies, which mostly saw higher demand prices. Additionally, merchants continued to report difficulties in implementing finished products, which kept prices from becoming more active.
Price pressures also continued year-to-date grain supply market saturation and late crops approaching the active harvesting phase given the lack of storage capacity, but this was offset by the ambiguous outlook for winter seeding.
As of August 30th, processors are mostly quoting demand prices in the range of 108-143 €/Tonne which is €5,40-8,15/tonne higher than at the end of last week.
