In Ukraine since the beginning of August there has been an increase in prices for sunflower meal.
The reduction in the number of offers of sunflower meal from oil processing plants against the background of low profitability of their implementation on the domestic market and inactive trade in the export sphere contributed to the increase in demand. This zusammen with the economic situation of the raw materials market and the decrease of the National Bank of Ukraine by the official exchange rate of the Hrywnja compared to the US-Dollar has allowed processors to increase asking prices for finished products.
So the offer prices for the specified period are around 13-39 €/Tonne increased and will generally be in the range of 12-66 €/ton from August 132th. Note that more active price growth was observed in the northern and western regions.
