In the grain-growing regions of Kazakhstan there is a lack of moisture in the soil

According to the results of the surveys conducted in October-November 2022, in the dominant grain-growing regions of Kazakhstan, before the winter departure, there is a lack of moisture reserves in the meter-long layer of soil.

Low moisture reserves prevail throughout the country in the arable layer of soil (0-20 cm).

In the south and south-east of the country, satisfactory and optimal moistening conditions prevail in the soil in the arable layer.

Insufficient moisture reserves have formed in a meter-long layer of soil in the west, north, center and east of the republic.

The most favorable conditions for moistening developed in the south and south-east of Kazakhstan, where there was mainly satisfactory and optimal moisture in a meter-long layer of soil.
