According to official data of the General Administration of Red Sea Ports, cargo arrived in the amount of 63 thousand tons Wheat from Romania to one of Egypt's ports, reports Egypt Today.
It is also noted that according to the Ministry of Supply and Domestic Trade in Egypt, 1,8 million tons of wheat of various origins have been shipped to the country since the war in Ukraine.
As for shipments of wheat from India contracted before the grain export ban, the contracted 180.000 tons have not yet been delivered to Egypt.
Wheat stocks in Egypt as of early August, the ministry estimates sufficient to ensure domestic consumption within 7 months, while more than 4 million tons Grain crop from own production were bought into the state reserve of the country.
