Ukraine exported $21 billion of agricultural products this year


Despite the significant losses incurred as a result of agricultural aggression by the Russian Federation, Ukraine retains significant export potential in the agrosphere. This was stated in an interview with CNN by the first Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko, the press service of the Ministry of Economy said.

In total, in 11 months of this year Ukraine exported 50,9 million tons of agricultural products and food industry for a total of $21,1 billion, that is 16,7%, worth 13,7% less than in 11 months last year .

According to her, among the products of the agro-industrial complex and the food industry, the most exported were:

  • Corn (21,9 million tons worth US$5,3 billion);
  • Wheat (9,6 million tons worth US$2,3 billion);
  • sunflower oil (3,9 million tons worth $5 billion);
  • Rapeseeds (2,9 million tons valued at $1,4 billion).

These indicators are achieved by Ukrainian producers, despite the losses suffered by agriculture in Ukraine.
