Ukraine increased wheat shipments to African countries in December


In December, Ukraine increased wheat shipments to African countries from 24% to 25,08%, which is more than 1 million tons of the total. In particular, the increase in shipments in December to countries on the brink of starvation is 138 thousand tons.

By mid-December were 554 ships of 13,9 million tons of agricultural products, of which Wheat – 4 million tons, Corn – 5,9 million tons – disappeared as part of a corridor from Ukraine. In the last two weeks the shipments have increased by 1,6 million tons, of which wheat - 399 thousand tons, corn - 911 thousand tons.

Yesterday, 4 ships of 69,5 thousand tons of agricultural products destined for Asia came from the ports of Greater Odessa. Among them are the tankers SELINA II, MID PACIFIC carrying 54.000 tons of sunflower oil for India.

Now 22 ships are under treatment in the ports of Greater Odessa. You will load about 6 thousand tons of the Ukrainian agroproduction. Another XNUMX ships should arrive shortly.
