Russian grain exports fell 40 percent year-on-year in August


According to analysts at ProZerno, Russia has 3,7 million in August Tonnen Grains exported from EAWG, which is 39% more than in July (2,662 million tons), reports Interfax. At the same time, exports fell by 40% compared to August last year.

The export potential of Russian Grains in 2022/23 ProSerno estimates 53,5 million tons, of which 42 million tons Wheat. According to the company, 6,4 million tons of grain, including 5,3 million tons of wheat, were exported in July and August.

The main buyers of Russian grain during this period were Turkey (1,34 million tons), Iran (1,26 million tons) and Egypt (0,96 million tons).
