The rate of corn harvest in Argentina remains low

In Argentina, as of October 7th, 14% of the planned areas (+7% per week) Corn sown, which is worse in the same period last year (21%). At the same time, the pace of field work in the southern and northern regions of the country is more than 30% worse than last year, reports Soybeans & Corn Advisor.

As already mentioned, traditionally September-October and later December-January in Argentina becomes the early Grains sown.

It should be taken into account that with sufficient quantities of seeds and fertilizers, Argentine farmers may prefer later varieties of corn. In another variant, farmers can carry out part of the planned early maize planting Soybeans replace.
