The forecast for global corn production in 2022/23 has been reduced by 4 million tons

The analysts have estimated 56,2 (58,8; 70,9) million tons for the EU and the USA revised downwards to 352,9 (354,2; 382,9) million tonnes. At the same time, the forecast for India was raised slightly – to 32 (31,5; 33,6) million tons.

Overall, the analysts left their forecast for global corn exports for the current season unchanged – at 184,7 (184,7; 193,4) ​​million tons. At the same time, the forecast for Ukraine has increased significantly – to 15,5 (13; 27) million tons, and India to 2,8 (2,4; 3,6) million tons. In turn, experts have the forecast for the grain exports from the USA reduced to 57 (59,5; 63) million tons.

USDA analysts have lowered their forecast for global end corn stocks for 2022/23 to 301,2 (304,5; 307) million tons. In particular, for Canada 2,1 (2,2; 2,1) million tons, the People's Republic of China - 206,2 (207,2; 209,2) million tons, Ukraine - 9,8 (11), 3; 4,5) million tons and the USA revised down to 29,7 (30,9; 34,9) million tonnes.
