Wheat prices in the Danube ports of Ukraine fell by €33,50/ton in one week


According to last week's results in the Ukrainian ports of Reni and Ismail, the sank Griwna Demand prices for Wheat, and the area of Dollar-Prices narrowed against the backdrop of multidirectional adjustments.

Importers expected saturation of the grain market with a new crop, while suppliers, due to the abolition of export licensing and reduced demand for Corn recorded an increase in wheat trade, which, along with the high level of transit remainders and the blockade of seaports, were important factors in price pressure. The drop in grain costs also contributed to the fact that farmers in the south of the country feared to keep the crops within the region and were forced to sell them "under the wheels".

Hryvnia prices on demand Food Wheat and feed by the end of the week fell on average €33,50/Tonne – up to 184,40-217,90 and 167,60-201,15 €/ton, but maximum prices only articulated the units. The prices of demand in US-Dollar Food wheat 2, grade 3 and fodder crop-2022 in the ports of Reni and Ismail in the majority formed 190-205, 185-200 and 170-190 $/ton.
