As of December 8st Grain crop and Legumes milled on 9,7 million hectares, representing 87% of the planned area, from which 43,6 million tons of grain were collected with an average yield of 45,1 hundredweight/hectare. This was reported by the press-service of the Ministry of Agricultural Policy of Ukraine.
Now the harvest of the late group crops is carried out:
- Corn is milled on 2,8 million hectares (66%), 17,2 million tons milled (yield: 61,9 hundredweight/hectare);
- Buckwheat is ground on 115 thousand hectares (98%), 157 thousand tons (13,7 hundredweight/hectare) ground;
- Millet was ground on 43,2 thousand hectares (97%), 99,5 thousand tons (23 hundredweight/hectare) ground.
The Harvest of Sunflowers is carried out on 4,6 million hectares (98%) of which 10 million tons of seeds are ground with a yield of 21,8 hundredweight per hectare. 3,7 million tons with a yield of 24,2 hundredweight per hectare Soybeans ground, the harvested area is 1,5 million hectares (98%).
Sugar beets have accumulated 8,9 million tons with a yield of 502 quintals/hectare. In total, beets are dug up on an area of 176,7 thousand hectares (98%).
Landowners of the Nikolaev, Chernovitsky and Odessa areas completed cleaning of the present crop of all agricultural crops. Most of the grains were ground by agricultural producers of Vinnytsia region - 3,8 million tons. The highest yield of cereals and legumes among farmers in Khmelnitka region is 68,7 hundredweight/hectare.
