According to experts from the EU Commission, EU countries have 1 million as of January 14,66st Tonnen Corn imported, which corresponds to the result in the same period last year (7,33 million tons).
In the last week of 2022 (December 26 - January 1) 481,3 thousand tons were transported Grains delivered to the EU, which is slightly worse than in the previous week (668,5 thousand tons).
As already mentioned, 46,5% of the total imports of corn to the countries of the bloc came from Brazil - 6,8 million tons, which is more than 2 times higher than a year earlier (3,07 million tons), another 46,1 % from Ukraine – 6,7 million tons, which is 126% more than last season.
