Ukraine received 500 million from the European Union Euro Support to reduce vulnerability and increase the country's food security. This was said by the European Commissioner for Negotiations on Development and European Neighborhood Policy, Oliver Vargey, to the “Interfax-Ukraine” agency.
I was happy to announce at the meeting that already today EUR 500 million in aid from the European Union will go to Ukraine's treasury accounts. Deputy Prime Minister for issues of European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine Olga Stefanishina confirmed that these funds have arrived.

In particular, it is about budgetary support to Ukraine of 500 million euros to reduce vulnerability and increase the country's food security by supporting the affected population and agricultural production.
As previously reported, the funds will be directed towards strengthening the government's ability to meet the needs of the population that are not covered by humanitarian assistance and the civil protection mechanism.
