were at the end of October Grains and Legumes to 7,7 million Hektar ground, which accounts for 70% of the planned areas, of which 30,9 million Tonnen Grains were harvested with an average yield of 39,9 quintals/hectare. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
Agricultural producers of Dnepropetrovsk and Odessa regions have already milled more than 2,5 million tons of grain, and Vinnytsia, Kirovograd and Khmelnytsia – more than 2 million tons of grain. The highest yield of cereals and legumes among farmers in the Khmelnitka region is 61,1 hundredweight/hectare.
Harvesting of the late group crops is currently continuing:
- Corn is ground on 832 thousand hectares (20%), 4,5 million tons ground (yield: 53,7 hundredweight / hectare);
- Buckwheat is ground to 109 thousand hectares (93%), 149 thousand tons (13,6 hundredweight / hectare) ground;
- Millet is milled to 42.000 hectares (95%), 98.000 tons (23,2 hundredweight / hectare) milled.
