He noted that with this broadcast Ukraine zusammen with partners takes the next step to prevent global hunger. In addition, the unlocking of the ports will “give at least $1 billion in foreign exchange earnings to the Ukrainian economy and an opportunity for the agricultural sector to plan for next year's seeding”.
“We are grateful to the partners who, despite the difficulties, did not stop preparations for export. ZusaInternal operating regulations have already been drawn up in cooperation with representatives of the United Nations and Turkey. For this, Ukraine has done everything to resume work of ports and all companies involved. It is important to note the rigorous support of the American and European partners on the way to unlocking Ukrainian seaports,” added A. Kubrakov.
Also the minister noted that in Big Odessa ports 16 more vessels wait for turn to send.
These are ships that have been blocked since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion. In parallel, we receive requests for the arrival of new ships for loading agricultural products. With the support of our partners, we plan to reach the full handling capacity of agricultural products in the coming weeks.
