The Russian Ministry of Agriculture can increase the quota for the export of Grains possibly increase in the 2022-2023 season, but this is unlikely to be needed, Russian Agriculture Minister Dmitry Patrushev said during a government hour in the State Duma.

He recalled that the export quota from February 15, 2023 to the end of the current export season (until June 30, 2023) amounted to 25,5 million Tonnen was approved, two and a half times as much as a year earlier.
“We define quotas for exporters based on a historical principle. And the principle is one — how much they exported earlier, they received a quota,” the minister added.
According to him, Russian food is in demand in the world in general, which is now supplied to more than 150 states. “It is forecast that the foreign trade volume (agricultural products) will be about US$2022 billion in 40—Dollar will amount to,” recalled Patrushev.
Russia is expected to have a record-breaking grain harvest in 2022, including Wheat, will collect in history.
