Australia reduced its canola exports by 11 percent in June


According to estimates by the Australian Bureau of Statistics, in June this year the country reduced its rapeseed exports by 11% per month - up to 480,9 thousand Tonnen compared to 542,4 thousand tons in May, reports Grain Central.

In particular, Australia delivered 120,5 thousand tons of oil to Japan in the reporting month, which accounted for 25% of total exports in June, as well as 82,9 thousand tons to the Netherlands, 66 thousand tons to Great Britain and 65 thousand tons to Belgium.

In just 9 months of the current season (October-June) Australia has 4,64 million tons Rapeseeds exported, of which 1,15 million tons to Germany and 920,8 thousand tons to Belgium.

At the same time, analysts from Lachstock Consulting predict that the volume of Australian oil exports may fall below 400 thousand tons in July and below 270 thousand tons in August.
