The Tunisian dinar, written D or DT in Tunisia, دينار تونسي Dīnār tūnisī in Arabic, is the currency of Tunisia. It is a currency of thousands, i.e. 1 dinar is divided into 1000 millimes, abbreviated as M. In common parlance, the millimes are called “francs” after the predecessor currency.
