Im Wirtschaftsjahr By 2024/25, Ukraine could have more than 60 million Tonnen Grains and oilseeds and their processed products, said Acting Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Taras Vysotskyy.
“Oilseed production is expected to reach 22 million tonnes. In particular, production of Rapeseeds 4 million tons and that of Sunflowers will reach about 13 million tons. Soybeans 5 million tons is expected. This will be a record in the history of Ukraine,” the ministry said.
According to the forecasts of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, exports of oilseeds and oilseed products are expected to reach more than 17 million tons, and profitability will also increase compared to last year. Yields for sunflowers are expected to be 45 USD/Tonne, for soybeans at 83 USD/ton and for rapeseed at 78 USD/ton.
As of June 13, Ukraine had received 5,212 million. Hektar Sunflowers, or 99% of the planned 5,288 million hectares, and 2,047 million hectares of soybeans, or 103% of the planned 1,99 million hectares, were sown.
