Like the results of the next one USDA-Crop Tour show was in the USA an increase in field work rates due to improved weather conditions over the past week. In particular, on October 9th, a corn campaign was carried out in the country for 31% of the planned area (+11% per week), still lower than in the same period last year (39%), but in line with the average of the last 5 years (30%).
At the same time, the condition of corn seed improved – 54% of them were in good and excellent condition (+2% per week) as of the reporting date.
The Harvest of Soybeans has also accelerated and by October 9 had been carried out on 44% of the planned areas (+22% per week), slightly below last year's level (47%) and above the average (38%). The state of Oilseeds has also improved – at the end of last week 57% of them were in good and excellent condition (+2% per week).
It should also be noted that the sowing rate of winter wheat in the USA has also increased – as of the reporting date it was carried out by 55% of the planned areas (+15% per week), which is slightly worse in the same period last year and on average for 5 years (58%) than in the same period last year.
