Ам 24 June the Commission for emergency situations of the Moldovan government issued a ban on the export of Wheat and all-purpose flour lifted from the country, reports RBK-Ukraine, citing information from the government of Moldova.
As stated in the government press service, the wheat harvest this year will reach 900 thousand Tonnen estimated, which is 30% less than last year, but 600 thousand tons Grains are necessary to ensure the internal needs of the country. In addition, Moldova currently has wheat reserves of 75 thousand tons.
It is also reported that the current export ban from sugar country remains in effect.
Recall that the export ban for Wheat and Sugar from Moldova came into force on March 1st, the export ban for Flour valid from March 12th of this year.
