Kazakhstan and Germany have signed a joint statement from the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the further development and deepening of the Zusammen work as part of the bilateral cooperation project “German-Kazakh Agricultural Policy Dialogue”. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On November 17, the visit of the Kazakh delegation to Berlin took place under the leadership of the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar. During the visit, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Abulkhair Tamabek met with State Secretary to the Federal Minister for Agriculture and Food Dr. O. Nick zusamm.
At the meeting, the deputy minister emphasized that the priority areas of ZusaThe work between Kazakhstan and Germany is seed production and crop protection, digital agriculture and agricultural innovation.
In addition, A. Tamabek held discussions with the director of the Alliance of German Agriculture, Dr. Peter Brodersen – the parties discussed the production of seeds and fertilizers. As a result of the meeting, a memorandum was signed with the Alliance.
It is stated that at the end of 9 months of 2023, the trade turnover of agricultural products between Kazakhstan and Germany amounted to 94 million dollars. The volume of exports from Kazakhstan to Germany amounted to 23,5 million dollars, imports from Germany to Kazakhstan – 70,3 million dollars.
