According to Grain Online, citing the European Commission, EU countries have exported 4 million Tonnen Sunflower meal imported, 1 percent less than in the same period last year.
Imports of soybean meal fell by 4% to 14,23 million tonnes. Imports of sunflower meal, however, rose by 16% to 2,988 million tonnes and those of rapeseed meal rose by 1% to 0,76 million tonnes.
The main supplies of soybean meal to the EU come from Brazil with 8,39 million tonnes and Argentina with 3,18 million tonnes. The largest suppliers of sunflower meal include Ukraine with 1,25 million tonnes, Russia with 0,77 million tonnes and Argentina with 0,61 million tonnes.
Rapeseed meal is mainly imported from Russia (0,31 million tonnes), Belarus (0,24 million tonnes) and Ukraine (0,16 million tonnes).
